July 28 - Fly Gurlz All Women's 10 Hour Relay Event

It's about time - a cycling relay for women only! Head up to Albion Hills for the first installment of the Fly Gurlz's new women's mountain bike relay. First-Timers Club at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon
In conjunction with the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Get Out There Magazine is launching the Get Out There First-Timers Club, for first-time marathon or half-marathon runners.
Registration for the club is free and participants recieve access to the Get Out There First-Timers tent on race day (free bag check - without the lines!), post and pre-race goodies, race day product samples, post-race meeting place for family and friends, regular event updates and a free one-year subscription to Get Out There Magazine!

Keen Adventure Sports Games Rescheduled
Canada's answer to the Teva Mountain Games, the Keen Adventure Sports Games have been rescheduled to September 15th and 16th in Collingwood, Ontario due to problems with permits. The multi-sport festival will feature 3 race formats - the two-day Keen Ultimate Adventure Challenge (compete in 7 different sports), a Multi-Sport Stage Race on Saturday, and a Adventure Stage Race on Sunday. Oh, and did we mention the kick-ass grand prize? An all expense paid trip for a team of two to compete in the Keen Ultimate Adventure Challenge race in Australia, April 8 - 12, 2008 - a prize valued at $10,000! Registration is now open! We're on the hunt for cover photos for our January/February 08 and May/June 08 issues - and we need your help! Send us your best cycling or winter sport photos and you could win a chance to have your photo featured on an upcoming cover of Get Out There Magazine!
