Subaru Centurion Celebrates 6 Years
Launches new three-stage ride event (incl. time trial!) and moves main rides to Saturday
One of Ontario’s largest rides, the event returns to the picturesque Blue Mountain Resort (90 minutes north of Toronto) for its sixth year on September 18th – 20th. This year a new three-event stage race called the Gran Centurion Stage Race will offer riders the opportunity to participate in a Time Trial(Fri), C50 mile (Sat) and the C25 mile (Sun) – a full “tour” riding experience!
Another change - the C50 and C100, the 50- and 100-mile rides, will now be held on Saturday, so racers and riders can enjoy a fun post-race party in the village, featuring a concert, food and more. The 25-mile ride will take place on Sunday.
Participants can sign up as an individual or team. All cycling events include chip timing, controlled traffic throughout and full support, as well as a coordinated mass start so racers can race and riders can ride.
Truly a weekend festival of cycling, participants and their families can enjoy a weekend away at the Village at Blue Mountain, taking in recreational activities, the event expo, fine dining and the official post-event party. Consider enjoying a post-ride Beaver Tail or poutine in the Village, or a family-friendly afternoon visiting Scenic Caves and traversing Ontario’s longest suspension bridge. Keep the kids busy while you ride with a visit to the water park at Blue Mountain Resort.
