Organized in conjunction with our advertising partners, Get Out There Clinics introduce participants to a new sport or outdoor activity or provide the opportunity to improve on existing skills. These low-cost clinics are professionally instructed and include great draw prizes and goody bags filled with samples and gifts from our sponsors.

Get Out There National Event Series
The Get Out There National Event Series is a program for race directors and event organizers. In exchange for distributing copies of Get Out There Magazine at their events, race directors and event organizers become part of the Series and receive: guaranteed and highlighted listings in the event calendars in Get Out There Magazines, inclusion of the event listing in the Get Out There Report e-newsletters, a special listing in our Annual Race and Event Guide and the opportunity to participate in special editorial and promotional opportunities. Race directors also have the opportunity to be part of our sampling program and receive samples from our advertisers to enhance their race kits. Get Out There Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards
Our annual Readers’ Choice Awards recognize the people, places and organizations that make active living in Canada so great. Readers are invited to vote in 50 categories, including: best marathon, best yoga studio, best event t-shirt, best place to watch the Tour de France, and more. The winners receive a plaque for display in their place of business and use of the Readers’ Choice Awards logo in their promotional and marketing materials. Get Out There’s Annual Race and Event Guide
Get Out There’s Annual Race and Event Guide is published annually in the January/February issues of Get Out There. The Guide is a directory of sports and outdoor recreation events that will be taking place in the year ahead. Special discounted advertising rates are offered to race and event directors to include their event ad in the Guide. The Guide is a “keeper issue” for our readers who pull the section out and reference it regularly as they make their event plans for the year ahead. Our National Event Series partners also receive a special, highlighted listing in the Guide. View the 2009 Race and Event Guide.
Get Out There Coupons provide readers with access to great deals and discounts on outdoor recreation activities, gear and apparel, entry fees into festivals and shows and more. Offered as added value for our advertising partners, the coupons are emailed directly to readers six times per year and can be downloaded by the public through our website. Coupons are targeted regionally, using postal codes provided when readers sign-up to receive the coupons. Check out our current deals!
Throughout the year Get Out There supports individuals and teams interested in participating in and reporting on competitive athletic events taking place across Canada. Get Out There will sponsor an individual or team’s entry fee and in some cases Get Out There will provide support in securing sponsors and cover some of the participation costs.
