WHO: Chrissie Wellington, four time Ironman World Champion and five time world record holder in the world’s most grueling sport: the Ironman Triathlon. Competition consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a marathon run, raced in that order and without a break. Chrissie did not go pro until she was 30 years old yet has come in first place in 12 out of 12 Ironman Competitions in which she has entered, including four Ironman World Championships.
